I tried to date a tattoo artist & all I got was this lousy tribal...
I feel that I've hyped this cross stitch so much that I don't even know what to write now... It's a gift for friends working at Swahili Bob's Tattoo & Piercing here in Stockholm. We're trading handicraft for handicraft... The text is the swedish version of "no pain, no gain" or literally "if you want to look nice, you have to suffer".

Love it, it's beautiful! And perfect for a tattoo studio, I can definitely see it hanging there. How big is it?
And I'm getting a little curious to see what you get in return... :)
it's about 30x40 cm i think, pretty big with the frame & all.
yeah, haven't really decided yet about the trading, but i have at least two ideas that i'm working on... one of them is even craft related!
I freakin' LOVE this!
And BTW totally understood it in swedish, 6 years of studying is finally paying off :D
So you finally got your sparrows right :o) It's a great work, I couldn't imagine a better stitching for a tattoo studio !
torrance - haha maybe i should start writing in swedish instead, just to get your trilingual skills going?
lilith - yeah, the stupid swallows... think i'll make a post & show you the three first attempts at this one some day...
Sjukt sjukt fint!
